Your responsibilities in this role will include:

As a UBSLogic Scrum Master: you will lead Agile Scrum Ceremonies – Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Backlog Refinement, Scrum Retrospectives, assist the engineering team by removing blockers and impediments to delivery. You will take accountability for the delivery of all application changed for one or more applications in the respective product domain or channel. This will include software delivered across the end-to-end software development lifecycle. You will also ensure resolution of minor and major incidents raised by the operation.

As QA you wil be helping drive quality from conception to finished product, including:

• Developing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Contributing to the growth of our regression packs and ensuring we maintain a high level of automated test coverage
• Identifying, reporting and working with team members to resolve issues found
• Contributing to architectural decisions from a testability perspective
• Tracking quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
• Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Required Skills, as QA:

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• A high degree of personal honesty and integrity
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO and Cucumber
• Programming skills in JavaScript, python or other common language
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing
• Some experience with AWS technologies

Required Skills, as Scrum Master:

• 2+ years’ experience of Scrum Master
• Knowledge in software development, IT infrastructure
• Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Agile mindset and positive thinking
• Good spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Experience with agile management tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira)
• Certified Scrum Master

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

• Ability to absorb and analyse large quantities of data
• Experience in working, leading and delivering change within a time bound regulatory driven operation
• Experience within counter crime environment/ knowledge of Barclays Operations
